About
Synthia is a music production collective in NYC. Synthia creates space to try things and express yourself. We believe in openness, safety and mutual support in music making. There is no prerequisite of knowledge, experience, or education to make music together.As a collective, Synthia uplifts voices from communities that have been systematically under-resourced and under-valued by the music industry. Creating music should be accessible and affordable for all. We believe in anti-racism, anti-misogyny, anti-ableism and intersectionality as core tenets of music culture. Synthia does not tolerate homophobia or transphobia.
Who We Are
Synthia was formed in 2023 by Miles Francis, Teeny Lieberson (Lou Tides), and Sarah Galdes. We produce albums and singles, host events, score films, provide session musician services, edit podcasts, and much more.
